Karen Nealey Obituary
She was a native of Wichita, Kansas, a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution Community and Elizabethtown Emmaus. She was formerly employed by Communicare and Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. She was a devoted Christian woman, wife, mother, and nana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Marguerite Nivison.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Vincent Nealey; two sons, Collin Nealey of Cincinnati and Sean (Jessica) Nealey of Lexington; two grandchildren, Piper and Liam Nealey; a brother, Steve Nivison of Montana; two sisters, Karla Falter of Idaho and Kathy Blaha of Kansas; and two cousins, Patsy Congrove of Kansas and Brad Paulsen.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Elizabethtown with Dr. Charles Darland officiating.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and continues at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
A graveside service is at 2 p.m. Monday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Potocki-Lupski Syndrome Outreach Foundation at PTLSfoundation.org or Gideons International.
