Marie Dennis Obituary
She was born in Elizabethtown to Phillip and Mossie Lawson Blan. She was a tax preparer and member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She served on the board of directors for the West 84 fire department.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Carlus Louis Blan.
Survivors include her two sons, Sherman (Lavonna Horn) Dennis of Leitchfield and Travis (fiancée Amber Reynolds) Dennis of Munfordville; a daughter, Cynthia (Johnnie) Henderson of Big Clifty; a sister, Sharon Dennis of Leitchfield; two brothers, Harrison (Ruby) Blan of Big Clifty and Floyd (Gladys) Blan of Cecilia; five grandchildren, Andrew Henderson, Zac Henderson, Dealan Horn, Brandon Horn and Makayla Horn; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Big Clifty with the Rev. David Stephens officiating. Burial follows in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and continues from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
