Marilyn Shoffner Obituary

Marilyn Jo Shoffner, 71, of Buffalo, formerly of Indiana, passed away, Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

She was very outgoing and loved sewing, quilting, her Koi pond, Jeeps and cooking and was known for her famous chicken and dumplings. Most of all, she loved her family.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Denny Shoffner; her mother, Effie Frances Smith; two sisters, Janet Miller and Ruthe Mae Riordan; a brother, Arthur Ray Riordan; and a brother-in-law, Larry Shoffner.

Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Shoffner and Missy (Todd) Shoffner; two sons, Denny (Paula) Shoffner and Chester (Amanda) Shoffner; 12 grandchildren, Mitchell (Marissa) Snell, Matthew (Alexis) Snell, Alicia (Logan) Wetzel, Cody (Summer) Mattingly, Emma Hazelwood, Gracie Hazelwood, Clayton Shoffner, Denny Michael Shoffner, Garrett Shoffner, Celena Clemons, Kristen (Jacob) Kerr and Matt Underwood; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Calloway and Marsha Moss; a brother Ricky Riordan; a brother-in-law, Ronnie (Norma) Shoffner; and two sisters-in-law, Emma Shoffner and Faye Bray

Marilyn was cremated. No services are scheduled at this time.
