Sandra Denise Rust

Sandra Denise Rust, 52, of Hodgenville, formerly of New Haven, passed away Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at the Cancer Center of America in Newman, Georgia.

She was born April 27, 1962, the daughter of Charles Louis Sr. and Mary Ann DeMar Rust. She was a member of St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven. She was employed at Magna Seating in Shepherdsville and worked with William R. Rust Funeral Homes. She was a graduate of the LaRue County High School Class of 1980.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles L. Rust Sr.; a brother, Gary E. ""Squirrel"" Rust; a sister, Mary Rust; a nephew, Glen E. Statton III; her maternal grandparents, James ""Jim"" and Mary Alice Mattingly DeMar; and her paternal grandparents, James E. and Edna Seward Rust.

She is survived by twin children, Kelsey Ann and Stephen Elijah Brady of Hodgenville; her significant other, Stephen Brady of Hodgenville; her mother, Mary Ann DeMar Rust of New Haven; a sister, Beverly (Dana) DeSpain of Lyons Station; five brothers, Charles L. ""Chuck"" (Beth) Rust of Boston, Bruce Rust and William R. ""Ronnie"" Rust, both of New Haven, Jeff (Vicki) Rust of Hodgenville and John (Crystal) Rust of Lyons Station; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial is at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven with the Rev. Troy Overton officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery. Prayers are at 6 p.m. Wednesday at William R. Rust Funeral Home, Hodgenville Chapel.

Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 612 N. Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville.
