Ted Eden Obituary
Ted was the founder and owner of Eden Fence Company which specializes in guardrail installation throughout Kentucky and the South. He was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church and a Mason. Ted never met a stranger and was an avid storyteller.
He will be remembered for his love and care for his family, friends and employees.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Christopher and Laura Hornsby Eden; his wife of 40 years, Coleen Eden; a son, Samuel Eden; and eight siblings, Ruby Eden Hiler, Gilbert Eden, Carolyn Eden Richmond, Nannie Eden Robinson, Ada Eden, Gladys Eden Gabbard, Thomas "Junior" Eden and William "Dee" Eden.
He is survived by a son, Dr. Michael (Marsha) Eden of Nicholasville; two daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Lehman of Lexington and Carla (Michael) Kinder of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren, Shelby and Katie Eden of Nicholasville, Austin, Lauren and Jenna Kinder of Elizabethtown; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Phyllis Higdon.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown with Pastor Jeff Wilson and Brother Don Powell officiating. Burial follows in Hardin Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11 and continues at noon to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

I only met him once, thanks to Phyllis having us over for dinner, he left an everlasting impression, good cook and shared good stories. I am sure he is taking a lot of stories with him and there is a reunion in Heaven like none other. God Bless family and friends.
