Wayne Moyer Obituary

Wayne Franklin Moyer Sr., 85, of Magnolia, formerly of Bellevue, Ohio, passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
He was a member of LaRue Baptist Church in Hodgenville and was a retired dairy farmer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Moyer; and five brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Mo­yer; two daughters, Gayle (Carl) Barton of Belle­vue, Ohio, and Sherry (Ron) McLaughlin of Newark, Ohio; three sons, Danny Moyer of Corinth, Mis­sis­sippi, Wayne Franklin (Shannon) Moyer Jr. of Fishers, Indiana, and Steven (Barbara) Moyer of Etna, Ohio; two step-daughters, Sandra (Sammy) Slay­ton of Magnolia and Sharon (Gary) Ellenson of Eliza­bethtown; a sister, Janet (Roger) Russell of Bellevue, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; a stepgrandson; 32 great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at LaRue Baptist Church with Pastor Donald Kennedy and Brother Ben Benningfield officiating. Burial follows at a later date in Bellevue Cemetery in Bellevue, Ohio.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at the church.
Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of the arrangements.
