William Dalton Obituary
William O. Dalton, 80, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 20, 2025, at his home.
He was born in White Mills and was baptized in the Nolin River under the bridge.
William had a hardworking career as he worked for several years in the maintenance department at Kosmos Cement Company and also was skilled as a sign painter, welder and carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Wardrip; his parents, Mary Jane and Virgil Dalton; his sister, Rosaline Lasley; and his brother, Dwight Dalton.
William is survived by his son, Billy Joe (Cindy); his daughter, Janie Lynn; two grandchildren, Billy Ray and Kristina; his great-grandchildren; a sister, Debbie (Keith); and a brother, David.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
Advantage Funeral and Cremation Service-Hardy Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
