Bobbie Allen Obituary

Bobbie Joyce Allen, age 85, of Copperhill passed away peacefully in her home, Monday, February 3, 2025.
Bobbie was born June 1, 1939, in Madisonville, Tennessee to the late Lee Anderson Millsaps and Bertha Elizabeth Lawson.
Bobbie was of the Christian faith and was a devoted servant of Christ. She was a person of deep faith, whose life was a testament to the love and grace of God. Throughout her life, Bobbie lived with compassion, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and God.
She brought joy and warmth to those around her, and her legacy of love and faith will live on through the many lives touched by her presence.
Bobbie is survived by her children, Debbie Allen, Elizabeth (Dwayne) Pope, Julie (Kenton) Hicks, Michael (Renee) Allen, Jonathan (Christine) Allen, and daughter-in-law, Sandra Allen; grandchildren, Andy (Heather) Allen, Chris (Amanda) Pope, Katie (Casey) Burchett, Kristen (Rich) Allen, Jessica (Chad) Cochran, Kaylee (Weston) Henry, Will (Madeline) Hicks, and Judson Allen; great-grandchildren, Frankie Allen, Josie Maney, Drew Maney, Kinsley Grant, and Olivia Pope; siblings, Gary (Leah) Millsaps and Robert Millsaps; sister-in-law, Gaylean Millsaps, Cookie Lynn, and Susie Pless; and aunt, Jean Matthews.
Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, Lee Anderson Millsaps and Bertha Elizabeth Lawson; husband, Mark Allen; children, Marty Allen, Dewayne Allen, and two infant sons; along with several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were conducted, Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 3 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Funerals and Cremations of Copperhill Chapel with the Rev. David O'Neal officiating. Music was provided by Kenny O'Neal and Billy Waters.
Interment followed in the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Chris Pope, Andy Allen, Will Hicks, Judson Allen, Chad Cochran, Weston Henry, Casey Burchett, and Russell Locke. Honorary pallbearers were Joseph Bice, Chris Ensley, Chris Hicks, and James Cavander.
The family received friends at Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Copperhill Thursday prior to the service from noon until 3 p.m.
