David Ausburn Obituary

David Walter Ausburn, age 52, of Blue Ridge, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, April 2, 1970, to Douglas Joe Ausburn and Mary Gilbert Ausburn.
David was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and had worked for many years at Shaw Industries. He was an avid fisherman, always enjoyed his time in the woods hunting, and was always excited to take trips to Las Vegas.
David was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Joe Ausburn and his brother, Craig Ausburn.
He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Gilbert Ausburn, of Blue Ridge; a brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Amy Ausburn, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; a niece, Madison Ausburn; a nephew, Jack Ausburn; and a cousin, Kathy Albrighton, of Albany, Georgia.
David also leaves behind many other family members and friends.
A service to celebrate David's life was held Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Akins-Cobb of Blue Ridge with the Rev. Paul Ray Morgan officiating. Interment followed in the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Joel Smith, Philip Barker, Vaughn Stillwell, Ryan Crago, and Terry Stanley.
