Jayne Turner Obituary

Jayne Turner, age 81, of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her residence October 28, 2024, in Waverly, Tennessee.
She was born August 22, 1943, in Franklin County, Georgia, to the late Harrison Hollaway and Corene Porterfield Holloway.
In 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia, Jayne married the love of her life, Tommy Turner until his passing in 2023.
She spent nearly 63 years of her life being a loving and devoted wife and mother. Jayne's passion for African Violet plants was an expression of her nurturing spirit and appreciation for beauty. Her home was often filled with the vibrant colors of these plants, reflecting her warmth and positivity. Additionally, her love of reading allowed her to explore and deepen her faith in God, instilling in her a profound sense of purpose in sharing the Gospel with those around her. Throughout her life, Jayne was known for her kindness and willingness to assist others. She believed in the power of compassion and made it her mission to lend a helping hand whenever she could. Her legacy will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Morris Keith Turner of Bryan, Texas; grandsons, Jordan Turner, Harrison Turner and wife, Raven and Hudson Turner; and brother, Perry Hollaway of Danielsville, Georgia.
Along with her parents, Jayne is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Turner; sister, Elaine Bennett and brother, Randy Holloway.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 3 p.m. from the Oak Grove Baptist, Morganton, Georgia.
Interment followed in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Morganton, Georgia.
Ms. Turner laid in state from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Morganton, Georgia.
