Kevin Stecher Obituary
He was born April 6, 1956, in Buffalo, New York, to the late Donald and Gisela Stecher but grew up in Sarasota, Florida.
Kevin was a long-time resident of Murphy and a member of the business community, forming a fourth generation auto body shop, Appalachian Frame & Body, with his late brother, Edward Stecher in 1984.
Kevin was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Jerry Garrett.
He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Monica Stecher; step-daughter, Stella Draper of Alaska; granddaughters, Lotus and Pepper Draper, and grandson, Bodhi Levra; sister-in-law, Janice Stecher of Murphy; niece, the late Andrea Exley and her husband Buster Exley; nephew, Justin Stecher and his wife, Leighann Stecher; niece, Heidi Byrd and her husband, Tony Byrd of Georgia, and five great nephews and nieces.
A celebration of Kevin's life is planned for a later date.
