Lynda Mann Obituary
Lynda was born in Forsyth, Georgia to the late Ed Cooper and Dorothy Martin Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, the Rev. Gerald Mann; and siblings, Ray Cooper, Dwight Cooper, David Cooper, and Susie Cooper.
Lynda is survived by her sons, Gerald Steve (Mary) Mann, and Mitchell Scott (Linda) Mann; grandchildren, Kristy Mann and Nickala Creelman; great-grandchildren, Adan Hickey and Melody Hickey; sister-in-law, Barbara Cooper; brother-in-law, Richard Mann; and several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 2 p.m.from the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Copperhill Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Morrow and the Rev. Mark Reid officiating. Music was provided by Janice Reid. Interment followed in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Wolf Creek. Pallbearers were Tim Pack, Chris Vivian, Michael Harpe, Kevin Cooper, Allen Cooper, and Justin Cooper. Honorary pallbearer will be Dennis Hedrick. The family received friends at Akins-Cobb of Copperhill Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
