William Wright Obituary
William was born October 2, 1942, in High Point, North Carolina, to Claude and Helen Wright.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air force.
William was preceded in death by his father, Claude Junior Wright; mother, Helen Lucille Wright; brothers, Travis Wright and Bobby Wright; brothers-in-law, Ernie Sellers, Grady Sellers, and Kermit Totherow.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Wright; sons, William H. Wright Jr. and Kevin (Jan) Wright; daughter, Shannon Wright; sons, Ronnie Bell and Timothy Voss; daughter, Gwen (Kerry) Dills; son, Cory (Daniel) Eaton; and daughter, Christina (Cody) Franklin; sister, Ann Wright; grandchildren, Brittany (Amanda) Pryce, Anna Wright, Wesley Wright, Leah Wright, Matt (Amy) Smith, Jessica (Lamar) Peardon, Andrew (Jenifer) Dills, Jennifer (John) Hite, Isaac Franklin, and Kaley Franklin; great-grandchildren, Koleman Deal, Kashton Pryce, Destiny (Carson) Cheatham, Jacob Cochran, Sadie Smith, Hannah Cochran, Kimzey Peardon, Kaden Peardon, Remington Peardon, Isabella Dills, Gabriella Dills, William Hite, Henry Hite, and two unborn great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Rene Wright, Glenda Totherow, Myrtis Hastings, and Ann Sellers.
A graveside service was held Wednesday September 25, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Cherry Log Baptist Cemetery, Cherry Log, Georgia. with the Rev. Jamie Kerr officiating. Music provided by Jamie Kerr.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Matt Smith, Cody Franklin, Isaac Franklin, Daniel Giles, Lamar Peardon, and Kerry Dills.
Interment will follow at Cherry Log Baptist Cemetery in Cherry Log, Georgia.
Military honors were provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
The family received friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Blue Ridge Chapel Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
