Funeral Services for Mr. Bobby Mack Albritton, 83, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:30 PM, Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in the Feazel Chapel of First Baptist Church West Monroe, LA with Rev. Mark Fenn and Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Albritton was born January 10, 1929 and died in West Monroe, LA on July 14, 2012.

Bobby was an entrepreneur during his life. He was a veteran in the U. S. Navy, began his career as a bricklayer for over 15 years, which he was very proud of that vocation. He later was in the real estate development and building construction industry. He and his brother founded Southern Fittings, where they both retired. He continued working in the real estate business as a broker until his death. Mr. Albritton was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Bessie Albritton and his sister, Bonnie Whitley.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Betty N. Albritton; Daughter, Rhonda Compton and husband, Danny of West Monroe, LA; Sons, Larry Albritton and wife, Lillie of Garner, NC and Neil Albritton and wife, Courtney of Lafayette, LA; grandchildren, Robby Compton and wife, Leslie, Brent Compton and wife, Lissy, Jeremy Albritton and Fiancé, Lynn, and Blaire Elizabeth Albritton; great grandchildren, Makenzie Compton, Katie Compton, Pearson Compton and Brianna Morris; two step-granddaughters, five step-great grandchildren; and his brother, Clyde E. Albritton, Jr. and wife, Sue; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steve Albritton, Trey Albritton, Chuck Penn, Benji Lyons, Robert Biggers, and Stan Passman.

Honorary Pallbearers will be I. H. Tidwell, Paul Johnston, Larry Cooper, Tom King, Ken Ramsey, Mike Wilson, Dean Hart, Jeep Sanders and Frank Jenkins.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Ron Hammett, Dr. W. E. Beebe, and Dr. Jaya Sharma and the staff of Hospice Compassus.
