Calvret Frantom Obituary
West Monroe - Funeral services celebrating the life of Calvert Charles Frantom, 103, of West
Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday in the worship center of First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Dr. Woods Watson and Rev. Michael Wood officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Mr. Frantom died September 21, 2018 at Landmark Nursing Home.
Calvert was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. He was a retired insurance sales representative working until the age of 93. He also was the owner of Frantom's Furniture and Appliance Store.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Faye; Son, Sammy; Five Brothers and Five Sisters.
Survivors: Son and Daughter-in-law, Fred and Yvette Frantom; Daughter-in-law, Barbara Frantom; Grandchildren, Debbie Billings (Keith), Fred Frantom, Jr. (Tracy), Todd Frantom (Polly), Brian Frantom, Sean Frantom (Jennifer); Great Grandchildren, Piper, Darbi, Cason, Charles, Abigail, and Emily; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Don and Kirk Frantom, Joe and Jimmy York, Bob and Gary Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church, especially, Oscar Head.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday at Mulhearn's.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Landmark Nursing Home and Ascend Hospice for their special care.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.

I was honored to be Mr Frantom's pastor from 1991-1995.... and our friendship has continued allThese years. Calvert was a worker... upbeat ...not a Lazy Bone in his body!! He was an overcomer.... a doer... a positive can do' Man of Faith! 103 ... amazing!! So blessed to be his pastor and friend! My prayers are with the family!!Dennis Swanberg
