Charles LaFleur Obituary
Charles "Charlie" LaFleur, a man of strong faith, a big heart, and many talents passed away on December 21, 2012 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center after
a brief illness.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. A private family service and celebration of life will follow at a later date.
Charles was born January 22, 1953 in Monroe to Margaret and T. H. LaFleur.
His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his two children, Nick LaFleur and wife Larissa and Chelsea Roberts and husband Jonny; his beloved grandson, Logan LaFleur; Mimi LaFleur, the mother of his children; sister, Rosemary Dillingham; and brothers, Phil "Joe" LaFleur and wife Dewonna, and Vernon LaFleur; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Charlie never met a stranger and leaves behind many friends.
Charlie's memory will also be cherished by the staff of Sol's Pipe and Steel where he was proudly employed for more than three decades. He had a special love for Sol Rosenberg and his family.
Thank you, God, for sharing Charlie with us and now we take comfort in knowing that he is home with YOU.
