Charles Whitlock Obituary
Funeral services for Charles O. Whitlock, 83 of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Reverend Waymond Warren will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mr. Whitlock was born July 15, 1928 in West Monroe, LA and passed away April 1, 2012 in West Monroe. Charles was a retired plumbing contractor and owner/operator of West Monroe Plumbing for over 48 years. He loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Whitlock is preceded in death by his wife Betty King Whitlock; parents Otis and Dera; daughter Leigh Ann Whitlock; and brothers O.C. Whitlock Jr., James A. Whitlock, and Marvin Whitlock.
Charles is survived by his daughters Kay W. Shelton and Rhonda W. Hearne; grandsons D. Brent Shelton, Jr. and wife Lindsay, Michael Hearne and wife Carla, and Ryan Hearne and wife Britni; sister Nelda Whitlock Crain; and great grandchildren Brodie Hearne, Haylee Hearne, and 'Trey' Shelton.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hearne, Todd Whitlock, Brent Shelton, Ryan Hearne, Mike Wilbanks, and David Crain.
Honorary pallbearers are William "Bo" Whitlock, Don Leiber, Paul Crain, Alton "Giggs" Cooper, Henry Cook, and Ronald Moore.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
