Mattie Grayson Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Mae Grayson, 83, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Bill Foster and Rev. Robert Hill officiating. Interment will be in Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens Cemetery in West Monroe.
Mrs. Grayson was born on March 28, 1930 and died on September 8, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of the Claiborne United Methodist Church in West Monroe and a charter member of the Ouachita Squares and Square Shooters.
Survivors include her husband, Leo Grayson; son, Tommy Smith and wife Charlene; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Gardner and husband Eddie; grandchildren, Misti Cordell and Troy Gardner, and great grandchildren, Hank and John Cordell, Grayson, Sley and Celeste Gardner.
Pallbearers will be Mike Oaks, Larry Oaks, Fred Oaks, Tom Oaks, George Risdale, and Jerry Miller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Brown and Elmo Clay Owens.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Claiborne United Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA.
