Russell DeMoss Obituary
Funeral Services for Russell Earl "Dick" DeMoss, Sr., 90, of Monroe, LA will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 13, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Mark Foster officiating. Interment will follow in New Light Baptist Church Cemetery in Monroe.
Mr. DeMoss was born April 6, 1923 and passed away March 10, 2014. He was a house painter, a WWII Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of New Light Baptist Church. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Josie DeMoss, four brothers, J.W., ULee, Joe and Charles; and four sisters, Winifred, Ernestine, June and Kizzie.
Survivors include his children, Dickie Rae Rector and husband, Paul, Jo Dwyer, Dolly Ann Daugherty and husband, Wayne, Russell E. "Pete" DeMoss and wife, Ann, Paula Marie Telano and husband, Gary, Johnny Mac DeMoss and wife, Margaret and Danny Lee DeMoss and wife, Debbie; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Telano, Mitchell DeMoss, Jeremy DeMoss, Preston DeMoss, Jacob DeMoss and Sandy DeMoss.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Landon Telano and Caleb Arledge.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.
