Shelby Boyles Obituary
Shelby Madeline Boyles, 21, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, while assisting a stranded motorist.
The Savannah native was a senior at University of Louisiana at Monroe, School of Nursing and a registered CNA. Shelby was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bastrop, LA, where she was active in missions. She was preceded in death by her uncle, William Henry "Chip" Woods, Jr.; grandfathers, William Henry "Hank" Woods, Sr. and Franklin A. Boyles, Sr.; aunt, Christina Boyles; and cousin, Kaylee Mae Hinely.
Survivors include her father, Eric D. Boyles of Burleson, TX; sister, Marguerite Elizabeth "Maggie" Boyles of Lincoln, NE; grandmothers, Margurite Collins Woods of Midway, GA and Mary D. Boyles of Springfield; uncles, Wesley Warren Woods, Sr. of Savannah, Franklin A. Boyles, Jr. (Cynthia) of Marysville, TN; aunts, Sharon Hutson (Matt) of Rincon and Janice Watson Woods of Savannah; and cousins, Taylor Watson Woods, Erin R. Hinely, Konnor and Kooper Hinely, Wesley Warren Woods, Jr., Holly Renee Hutson, Cristy R. Clifton, and Joachim Franklin "Aki" Boyles.
Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, June 21, 2013 in the funeral home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday, June 22, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Springfield.
Interment: Union Cemetery.

So sorry for this traumatic loss. Even though this isn't a "loss". Shelby is no doubt, in the arms of Jesus Christ. What a wonderful person she was. Shelby will be missed, but never forgotten among the ULM nursing department. I will be praying for all families involved. God bless each & every one of you.

Eric and Maggie,
Shelby was the sweetest young lady! The last time we visited was in Dallas. I spent the day with Hollie and Shelby. We laughed all day long. That happened just about every time we were together. Please know all the family is in my prayers. She was precious!
