Will Ethridge

I was the first person to call her SuSu. I was her first grandchild. No words can describe how much I am going to miss her. We have so many memories together that I will never forget. She has taught me so much that I can look forward to in life. Even though I live in Baton Rouge, she is still able to comfort me and make me feel like the most special person in the world. She knew how to make me laugh too. She helped me grow closer to God every time I go visit them. I play baseball for Catholic High and I wrote SuSu under my hat because she is why I do everything I do right now. I know she's looking up at me and Blue. I love you, Susu

My deepest condolences to the family during this most difficult time. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so beloved. May you find comfort and peace in knowing that your loved one is in God's memory, because those who pass on are precious in his eyes. Psalms 116:15t

Susan was one of the most sincere and caring people I have ever known. We first met in middle school in Baton Rouge and were classmates in high school and LSU. She had a way of putting everyone at ease, often with humor. When you were talking with Susan, even in a crowded room, she made you feel like the most important person in the room. Her humor and caring spirit will be missed by all. May happy memories of having shared a beautiful life sustain Bill and her family during this time of sadness. God bless.

We meet many types of people on our journey. A very few rare ones are genuinely beautiful inside. Susan was one of those people. Sue and I are saddened by the thought that she will be on longer among us.
