Carolyn Moody Obituary

Carolyn Ann Collins Moody, 69, of Demorest, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Born on February 10, 1956, in Demorest, Carolyn exemplified strength and kindness throughout her life.
She dedicated many years of her professional career to quality control at Fieldale Farms, where she was known for her dedication and attention to detail.
Carolyn was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, David and Karen Collins; brother, Danny Collins; her sister and brother-in-law, Janet and David Boisclair; as well as several nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, Josh Moody; and her parents Willie "Bill" Collins and Helen Elrod Collins.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., on Sunday, August 24, 2025, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin and McEntire Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Fortner and Rev. Wesley Purcell officiating. Interment followed the service at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Cornelia.
The family received friends on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from noon to the service hour at the funeral home.

McGahee-Griffin and McEntire Funeral Home of Cornelia was in charge of arrangements.
