Joel Pritchard Obituary

Joel Gerard Pritchard, 61, of Clarkesville, passed away September 24, 2024.
Born in Johnson City, Tennessee, on April 30, 1963, Joel was the son of the late John and Carole Pickett Pritchard. Joel was a truck driver most all of his life. He was an owner and operator with P and P Trucking and later with C J P Trucking. Of the Baptist faith, Joel enjoyed listening to country music and watching NASCAR. He also loved to get in on some good karaoke. In addition to his parents, Joel is preceded in death by brothers, Bobby Eugene Pritchard and James Riley Pritchard.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Stitt Pritchard, of Clarkesville; son, James Paul Brock, of Banks County, Georgia; daughter, Melissa McNulty (Shawn), of Clarkesville; brother, Brian Edward Pritchard, of Gonzalez, Louisiana; grandchildren, Blake Brock, Nick Brock and Brandon Brock; as well as two nieces and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chuck Johnson officiating. Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 6-8 p.m.
