Audrey was born in Oshkosh on January 19, 1932, the daughter of Elizabeth and Frank Sphatt. On December 10, 1949 Audrey married the love of her life, Donald Charles Gutzman, who left her side in death on September 19, 2004. Don and Audrey were known as an inseparable couple, they enjoyed each moment of everyday together, spending time perch fishing, gardening, the outdoors, playing bingo, shopping and most importantly spending time with their beloved children and grandchildren.

Audrey is survived by her son, Ronald (Chris) Gutzman, Debra (Ronald) Kuklinski, Tina (Michael) Lohoff, Lisa (Robert) Mueller, Donna (James) LeRoy all of Oshkosh and Beth Ann Gutzman of Wauwatosa, WI; twelve grandchildren, Heather (John) Wesenberg, Kevin (Carrie) Kuklinski, Nicole Retelle, Joshua, Brandon and Elizabeth Mueller, Charlie, Andrew and Peter Lohoff, Clayton (special friend, Kaylee Haedt), Jaime (special friend, Kevin Thomas) and Molly Jo LeRoy. She is further survived by great-grandchildren, Jordon Retelle, Destini Schroeder, Marley and Carter Wesenberg, Rudy and Rylee Kuklinski; her sister, Rosemary Reinke of New London, WI and brother-in-law, Steven Langkau of Oshkosh. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Robert Charles and Wayne Charles Gutzman, a grandson, Robert Charles Gutzman and her beloved faithful dogs, Bandit and Peppi.

A time of visitation and support will be held for the Gutzman family on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 4p.m. until 7p.m. in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr. in Oshkosh. There will be a prayer service held at the funeral home at 7p.m. A Mass celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Jude the Apostle Parish, St. Vincent Catholic Church, 216 W. South Park Ave. The Reverend Fr. William Van DeKreeke will be the celebrant. There will be visitation at the church on Saturday also from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to: Oshkosh Area Community Foundation in care of The Gutzman Family Memorial, 230 Ohio Street Suite 211, Oshkosh, WI 54902 or to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society in her name. Audrey's family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Aurora Medical Center, Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and most importantly to the Aurora Hospice Visiting Nurse Association.

If flowers grow in heaven

Then pick a bunch for me then

Place them in my mother's arms

And tell her that I love and miss her

And when she turns to smile,

Place a kiss upon her cheek and

Hold her for a while.

Mom, Thank you for being our inspiration.

To the entire Gutzman Family....I have such very fond memories of Aunt Audrey that I will take with me forever. She always had a smile and was always willing to take the time to chat. Her faith was beautiful, and she will be missed.
Love to you all, Laura

Missing you grandma. You were such an amazing woman/wife/mother/grandmother and great grandmother. You now can watch down upon all of us and guide us all in the right direction. Now you are ableb to be with your husband as well as your boys that have been missing for a long time. I am sure they are all happy to have you back home with them as well as your grandson that is there with you. I am sure the dogs are just loving the fact they have mama there with them. We miss you. I also want to say thank you for being a wonderful grandma/great grandma to me and my girls. Love you Nici,Jordon and Destini.

Your entire family is in my prayers. What a wonderful woman Aud was. I remember her words of wisdom along with Don's when we would sit in the kitchen and talk. May all the wonderful memories help you all through this time. I am sure that the two of them are glowing with pride from the legacy and beautiful family that they created. Gods blessings and love.

A true inspiration, a mentor of love and joy, i only hope your message retains its importance now that you are gone from us. May your family continue this, and realize what they have in each other.

You are in peace now, rest and know you inspired so many with your love.
