Just heard about Garland's passing today. My deepest sympathy to his wife, Paula, and children. I am Garland's first cousin and worked with Paul and Lilly on the family reunion a couple of years ago. I'm so glad we did that which gave us the opportunity to meet many of the Ausloos cousins. Condolences also to Paul, Gary, Janet, Karen and their families.

Mr Ausloos was my son's driving instructor around 1995. Although we have moved from Wisconsin to Arizona, his name struck a chord. He was a generous and kind man. The kids looked forward to their training sessions. He made a real difference in many lives and will be greatly missed. The Konop's Mesa, AZ

Ausloos Family we send our condolences. Garland was a big man with an even bigger heart. I remember Gar from his days as a high school wrestler at Preble High School and followed him as a Titan Wrestler at UW Oshkosh. I was fortunate to be Garland's supervising teacher at Goodrich High School. It was here that I got to know the gentle giant for the wonderful person he was. He will be missed however, his memories will be with us forever.

I was on the wrestling team with Garland at Preble High School in 1968. My weight was 112 and with Gar in the heavy weight he was so big, but a gentle young man. But on the mat it's a whole different story, he was quick for his size. Enjoyed watching him wrestle.
My condolences for his family.

Dear Ausloos Family,
My Deepest Sympathy to Your whole family. I was a friend of Garland's at Oshkosh in the 70's and was just thinking about him recently. Everyone who knew Gar looked up to him and respected him immensely. What a good guy. A gentle giant and truly one of the best people I've ever known. God Bless you Gar.

Dear Paula, my heartfelt sympathies go out to you and your family. I was a classmate of Gar at Preble H.S. It's strange, but I was thinking about Gar about a week ago. I was remembering a time that I was being bullied (I was sick and frail in H.S.). Gar got involved and put a stop to it. No one messed with Gar! I know that St. Peter has the gate of heaven open wide with the Lord waiting to welcome him Home.

Garland and I were members of the Class of '70 at Preble High School in Green Bay. He was on the football team and a wrestler - a big strong guy - but a "gentle giant". My condolences to his family.

Dear Paula and family,
Garland was a classmate at Preble. All of us who followed the wrestling team waited for the final match. It was Garland who was the highlight of each event. I remember him as humble and quiet but so hardworking and always friendly. Sorry for your loss.
