Lillian Diskowski Obituary
Lillian L. Diskowski, age 101, passed away on July 18, 2016, at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. Lillian was born on January 10, 1915, to Henry and Louise (Meihak) Ritschke. She attended school in Oshkosh, and belonged to Peace Lutheran Church. On June 12, 1936, she married Alfred Diskowski, who preceded her in death on June 10, 1979, shortly after they moved in to Simmeana 3.
Lillian is survived by her son, Robert (Barbara) Diskowski of Walnut Creek, California; three grandchildren: Craig (Chrysteen) Diskowski of Gilroy, California, Mark (Dawn) Diskowski of Berkeley, California, and Renee (Michael Spitler) Diskowski of Walnut Creek, California; one great-grandson, Camden; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, July 22, 2016, at Bethel Home. A time of visiting for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bethel Home would be appreciated. Lillian's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you in appreciation to all of her friends including Leo and Izzy, the nurses and entire staff at Bethel Home and Heartland Hospice.

I knew Lillian waaaaaay back in the 60's at Miles Kimbal Co. What a character she was. Every work place NEEDS a person like her. She brightened the day for sure! I'm thankful to have known her.

Lil and Al were our next door neighbors in Oshkosh and Lil and I shared a birthday. I also remember helping Bob polish his car and getting a Smith Ice Cream Bar treat. My sympathy to Bob and his family. Jean Spanbauer Fietzer

I met "Aunt" Lil when I was a care giver for her nephew, Bill Ritschke at South Park Group Home. She was a wonderful lady who made sure that every Christmas the staff had a special gift made by her, to show us how much we were appreciated. She put a lot of love in those gifts she handmade with plastic canvas. She had a wonderful sense of humor which we all enjoyed. I know she will be truly missed but she is now in heaven with the ones that have gone before her. She has now received her angel wings. Rest In Peace "Aunt" Lil.

Lillian was such a wonderful lady. I had so much fun with her. It was a privilege to take care of her. We would laugh and joke around with each other all night. She will be missed dearly by me
