Edward Joseph Diskowski age 79 of Bridgeport passed away November 22, 2013. He was born August 22, 1934 to the late Walter and Helen Dziczkowski. He graduated from Harding High School and was captain of the Basketball team for Fairfield University. A Veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked for AVCO, General Electric, Coca Cola and CT Bank and Trust. Eddie lived life to the fullest and loved sports. He loved to have a good time and made sure everyone around him did too. He will be sadly missed by his two sons Edward and wife Sherry of Ohio, William of Bridgeport; the lights of his eyes, his grandsons Ethan and Eric; his goddaughter and niece Lori Santilli Gail; special friends Betsy and Joe Kopis and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Walter and sister Patricia Dziczkowski Santilli. He will be best remembered for his infectious laugh and good heart. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday November 27, 2013 in the Commerce Hill Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport at 11am followed by interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
