Robert Earl Kallin

1930 - 2011

Robert Earl Kallin, age 80, of Oshkosh passed away on Tuesday morning October 18, 2011 at Bethel Home. He was born in Oshkosh on October 24, 1930 the son of Earl and Adeline (Schmidt) Kallin. He married June Herrle on June 26, 1954 at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church in Oshkosh. He served his Country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed at Georgia Pacific for 35 years retiring in 1994. He was a faithful member of Most Blessed Sacrament in Oshkosh. He is survived by his wife June Kallin, one son Dennis (Cathy) Kallin and one granddaughter Marie (Bryan) Koch all of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Shirley Krueger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday October 20, 2011 at 11 am at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish (St. Peter's Church) at 449 High Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54901. Father James Jugenheimer will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 9 am until the time of Mass. Private committal services will be held. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Robert's name.
