SPRINGFIELD, IL - Rochelle Slater (nee Har-ris), 92; beloved wife of the late Leo Slater; devoted mother to Frederick (the late Terri) Slater, and the late Judy (the late Allan) Sharpiro; cherished Nonny of Heather (Brett) Cox, Mark (Brooke) Slater, Scott Shapiro and Mat-thew (Brenda) Slater; doting great-grandmother (Nonny) of Julia, Liam and Alyssa Cox, and Melany and Talia Slater.
Services were held Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at Weinstein Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, IL. Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie, IL.

We remember all of the joy and caring that Aunt Rochelle brought to our family and she will be missed. Her grandchildren, especially, in recent years, Heather and Brett, took such good care of making sure that she lived and enjoyed life as fully as possible.

Daria and Marissa were so sad when they heard that their Great Great Aunt Rochelle passed away. I am so happy that they were able to meet her last year. She will be missed by all of us who loved her.
