Burt S. Fangel

Fangel, Burt S. of Clarkston, died May 15, 2017 at 85 years of age. Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee. Brinker) for 62 years; loving father of Kim (Dennis) Burling, Kevin (Mary) Fangel and Kristi (the late Bill) Beno; dearest grandfather of Elizabeth (Ben), Kristina (John), Stephanie (Justin), Jacob (Kelsey) and the late Jenna; great grandfather of Andruw, Joyanna, David, Savannah, Sean, Tyler and Kaley; step brother of Phillip (Pat) Christos. Also survived by a large extended family and preceded in death by his beloved dog Buddy. Burt was the previous owner of Brinkers Plumbing in Waterford for many years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force (Korea Era) and was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. In his free time Burt was an avid Scuba Diver. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 20, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church ( 5481 Dixie Hwy, Waterford). Family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. with at Rosary at 4:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON (8909 Dixie Hwy. Clarkston).
