Carol Gibson Obituary
Carol grew up in Waterford MI, Parents Richard and Marilyn Cryderman (Currently dancing in Heaven), siblings David Cryderman, Lynn Cryderman Robeson (Currently dancing in Heaven), Ken Cryderman, Beth Cryderman Loeb, and Karen Cryderman Shrum. After Carol graduated from Waterford Kettering High School she went on to study at Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music (now renamed Cornerstone University).
Establishing Grand Rapids/Wyoming Michigan as her home to raise her family: Spouse Michael Gibson, Sons; Jarad, Avery, Ethan Gibson (Ethan proceeded his mom to heaven in August 2021) Carol loved to serve people in her community, especially children and veterans. She served in children's ministry as a leader and taught youth sports at the YMCA. Carol received her certification as a hairstylist at age 17 and worked in various salons in the Grand Rapids area, as well as providing in-home services to those who could not get to a salon, she especially enjoyed going to assisted living establishments. As a passionate caregiver she put herself back into school to begin her journey in healthcare. Serving with loving hands; Waldon Woods assisted living, Interim Healthcare, Michigan Heart and Vascular, Dermatology Associates, and Health Care Associates.
Carol loved the outdoors and share special memories with her family and loved ones exploring and enjoying! Her special talent in Art, creative thinking, and music will live on in our hearts.
We welcome you to celebrate Carol with a Celebration of Life Party held on January 20th from 6-9pm at BHM Fellowship Hall, 1065 36th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.

Our most sincere condolences to Carol's family. We were very saddened to learn of her passing. Although we never met in person, she was always a helpful and friendly voice whenever we spoke on the phone (from Sentinal Pointe). Carol loved her family and her church. Now she is with the Lord. May she rest in her well-deserved peace.
