I met Dean through a lawyers golf league. He was a terrible golfer but a wonderful person. So full of laughter and fun. This world was a better place with Dean in it. RIP my friend.

Please accept my belated condolences. I just learned from a colleague at 1200 that Dean passed away. I first met Deano in 1981 when we were both 1Ls at Wayne State Law School. We had a lot of laughs together back in those days and, ever since, I always looked forward to running into him at 1200. People seemed to be drawn to him because he always had a hilarious story and wry remark. Many times I had to wait in line to talk to him. He was a one-of-a-kind. He will be missed by me and many others whose lives he touched with his kindness and humor. RIP my friend.

So sorry to hear of Dean's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his Family and Friends. He was a great attorney and person. We met when I did some overflow work for Ivan, years ago. He was so gracious with his time and knowledge and helped me brainstorm through a few legal questions years after. His perspectives, sense of humor and laughter will be truly missed.

Janet words can't express what i want to say Tom and I were in shock when Tommy told us our hearts and prayers goes out to you and your family. When Dean and you came to Tommy 5th birthday the bond between Dean and Tommy began and still was strong to the end R.I.P. Dean you will always be in our hearts and memories.

I was truly saddened to hear of Dean's passing. Dean was always a pleasure to work with in court. I've considered Dean a friend as well. A great guy to hang with and have a few beers after a stupid day in court. He'll truly be missed.

Like many attorneys, I first came to know Dean when he was a law clerk in the Rochester Hills D. Ct. for one of the most "unique" judges on the bench. It was the perfect starting point for Dean's legal career - it didn't take long to learn that his sense of humor was legendary and there can be no do doubt it was enhanced by those early events and extraordinary circumstances. Dean always had a smile on his face and brightened the lives of those he came into contact with. I hope his loving family can be comforted in some way by the fact that their Father/Husband was highly respected in the legal profession as a passionate, effective and highly respected attorney. I was privileged to serve on the Criminal Assignment Committee with Dean and see his dedication first-hand. My favorite times with him though involve our countless discussions about golf and the Red Wings.
Deano, job well done! You will be truly missed

First met Dean when he was a law clerk for Judge Shipper at Rochester District Court. I always enjoyed his presence. He was a good lawyer, and had a great sense of humor. Dean Eldon is gone far too soon. A great lawyer. I was honored to know him, serve with him on the OC Criminal Appointment committee and have him zealously represent his clients regularly in our courts. I am so sad over this. I loved Dean. Him and I were friends in high school and especially beyond as we were roommates for a time in the early 80's. I have many a wonderful memories of my time with Dean. What a great person to be friends with and hang out with!! I tried to get together with him in 2006 and also twice n the last 2 years I wanted to invite him to attend a concert together but i could not connect with him.Condolences to Janet and the Eldon Family.

I am so sorry to hear about Dean! I hold in my heart the best memories of him while we worked at Ivan's office together for all those years. I remember the times you 2 went out to lunch and I was babysitting baby Sarah! I am so glad I got to visit with him last year when I stopped by his office. I wish I would have known that it was the last time. I would have given him an extra hug or 2.
Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.

I always looked forward to seeing him when he appeared in Judge Walker's courtroom at the 50th District Court. Dean will definitely be missed. He was Deano to some, Dean to others but no matter what your connection to him was he was a force of nature. Passionate about his family. If you were his friend, you were a friend for life. He was always the life of the party along with just being a kind, giving, good soul. He was a great son in law to our parents, a wonderful uncle to our kids and great brother in law to Jans sisters and brother but most of all an incredible father and devoted husband. I first met Dean when we were 9 years old at the Auburn Heights Boys' Club. Dean was so much fun to be around as a 9 year old or when we were 61 years old. He was fun and funny and nice and brilliant and his laugh was unmatched. When Dean was in the room all would soon be laughing. He had the unique ability to make everyone feel special, he had more friends than anyone I know. He was the best and brightest !! Our condolences to Janet and the kids and the entire Eldon and Dennis' Families.

Dean was way more then an amazing,Brilliant Attotney.He was a kind person who listened and cared truly for what a person was going through.He always listen to how a person was feeling.He truly cared about people.He walked into the court room and owned it so brilliant to watch &listen as he won his case.Through the years he helped my family in many situations.
