It still seems so very strange knowing that Frank is not going to call or show up at our Board meetings to listen in on what's the latest at Otay or with everyone. HIs cheerful smile and sense of humor made me chuckle all the time. Even when discussing on what wine to drink I know David and I wanted to bop him cause he used to make such a production out of it. Or, when he would pass out his Tide Tables book which was his trademark he was such a character. WHether he went by Frank, Frankie, Trouble, High Tide or Don Vito he will always be remembered by me as a friend and and all round good guy. YOu will be missed Don VIto.

Frank Biehl, you will be missed, but not forgotten. Your smile sticks in my mind as I think about some of our times together in this very short life we have. I am honored to be able to call you "my friend", which you had lots friends... words cannot describe what a loss I feel, you were a pretty cool dude, and I can hear you laughing now...

Dear Nancy, Frank, Cheryl, Julie and families~ I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. As a child I remember Mr. Biehl letting us pack into the family room for a sleep over to celebrate Julie's birthday. I know there were many more times we swarmed in and probably drove him bonkers. He welcomed us with grace and kindness. Many snacks were shared at the Biehl family kitchen table as well, and never a word was uttered if we didn't exactly clean up after ourselves! My memory is of a kind and gentle man. It saddens me to know he is gone and my prayers are with the entire family.

Our sympathy and prayers go out to your family at this time of great sadness. I feel that I knew many things about Mr. Biehl through stories told lovingly and humorously by Julie over the years. I know that they talked every day and that he was always there for her, no matter what. For any parent, that is a wonderful legacy.
