We enjoyed many fun times with Janet and Paul as we traveled the world with them. Janet was always a delight to be around . May she rest in peace.

Janet Victor was never an "old lady". Always full of Love & a great way with everyone she met.
As the former leasing person at Maple Village (Samaritus ) I had the pleasure of meeting Janet & Paul, as well as their family members. ...each special in their own ways!
Janet was tireless in her efforts to make sure that despite Pauls memory issues that he was loved, comfortable &
Cared for.
Janet is a woman I shall never forget.
We've spent many hours together in the past & I will be a little less now because of her absence.

Grandma was such a strong, loving, inspiring woman. I have so many fond memories of her. As a child, I would always look forward to our birthday trips to Toys R Us, replaced by visits to Barnes and Noble as we got older. She always had me bring back a gift for each of my siblings, teaching me from a young age the power of giving.
She loved her grandchildren so much and arranged so many fun experiences for us at her house - from inviting a magician to having caricatures of all of us drawn.
She was always positive, even up to the very end. She loved her life and felt so lucky to have had two great loves.
I am so grateful that she got to meet my son, Ace. I will cherish the memory forever.

Grandma's wit, energy, and charm were unmatched. She really knew how to light up a room and get everyone talking, laughing, and having a good time.
I was her first grandchild and I have so many great memories with her. When I was just a toddler, she put me in a kiddie pool while I was wearing a regular (non-swim) diaper. After it absorbed water and weighed me down, I remarked, Grandma, hard to walk! We also watched An American Tail together many times. A couple years ago, we had the very special experience of watching it againthis time with both of my children, her great grandchildren. I'm glad she was able to spend some time with her great grandchildren, who will miss her very much and cherish the storybooks she recorded for them.
During my college years, her and Grandpa Paul made it a point to come out to Ann Arbor and have lunch with me every couple months. I always enjoyed their company, and they took a real interest in what was going on in my life. Grandma in particular shared a lot of wise life advice that I've done my best to heed.
Grandma, we were all so lucky to have you in our lives. You'll be deeply missed.

As we come into this world, we are all born into our blood families.
Every now and then we come upon someone that we wished were part of our birth family.
So we adopt them and give them all the rights of our birth siblings.
Our Janet is such a person and has been part of our family for greater than two decades.
We are also fortunate to be part of the six couples that laughed, giggled, boated, wined and dined together.
My favorite memory of Janet is on the bow of Duane's boat on the way to Belle River. The six couples were all on board and having a wonderful time. Janet and I talked and talked. Laughed and laughed. It was a quiet time in her life after Mark and before Paul. It was a time of reflection of the past and a curiosity of the future.
As it turned out, the ruminates of our six couples had the blessing of a surprise get together at her place in late June. As usual we laughed and talked way too long. We are so glad as it was Janet's last party.
Janet you are missed.
May you dance the night away.
Love Ya,

I count myself blessed to be among the many young people who Janet welcomed into her home. From her, I learned the life lesson to start every day with a positive attitude and a smile (a big smile!). As we headed off to school, she never failed to tell us to "have a great day!." And she truly meant it.
When you think of Janet, you can only picture her smiling - or laughing. One of my favorite memories was when she took Karen and me to the movies. She lost hold of her tub of popcorn and when she tried to regain it, she sent the entire tub
halfway across the theater. I still get the giggles when I think of it. She was also a good friend to my own mom and was always supportive of us, attending family events as far away as Florida. I never heard my mom laugh so much as when she was with Janet (and Uncle Mark).
I can't imagine how many lives were touched by Janet's joy, good humor and love. She mentored us all well. She loved her life and everyone in it.

Grandma's spirit was unmatched. Her joy was contagious, and her kindness inspiring. She loved fiercely and lived life fearlessly. To say she was the world's best grandma hardly does her justice. She was brave, bright, beautiful and bold. You never questioned her love for you- she made you feel it every time you were around her. She was a bright light in the live's of everyone she encountered. She was loyal, kind, gracious, giving, and joyous, so joyous. Smiling in her presence was easy and natural. She always felt like home. I'll never have to question if Grandma loved her life because she told me so every chance she got. She lived life to its fullest, had the tremendous blessing of finding great love (twice over) and loved her children, grandchildren, great grands and her entire family fiercely and unwaveringly. Her love was unconditional and her smile lit up every room and everyone around her. She will be my forever compass on how to live an extraordinary life. She has taught me how to show love as often as possible, to be joyful, kind and uncompromising in your quest for happiness and love. Our memories with her and of her will forever be marked on our hearts. The adventures, laughter, traditions and LOVE were enough to last this lifetime and beyond. She was simply put, unforgettable. We'll love you forever and always, Grandma/Gigi.

I will always remember Janet's sweet smile, her warm embrace and her gentle words to each person she encountered. When my mom was hurting most and needed an understanding friend, Janet's kindness and gentle, helpful ways were treasured gifts from her heart and meant so much to my Mom and I. Heaven is all about the relationships forged her on Earth and embraced by the loving arms of our Lord when He calls us home. Today, Janet is home where she longed to be, with her Lord, her family and friends who love her dearly. May our dear Father bless and comfort all those who mourn the loss of a beloved Mother and Grandma and a dear, sweet friend to so many. I look forward to God's promise of a grand reunion one day......"somewhere over the rainbow" where the skies will be forever blue.

I have wonderfully fond memories of "Aunt Janet," always laughing and smiling. She brought such joy, and was the best of friends to my mom, Molly. Janet, you will be missed.
