Joseph Durso Obituary

DURSO, JOSEPH E.; age 86; of Holly; died Monday November 28, 2011. He was born in Pontiac on January 29, 1925; the son of Joseph and Josephine (Vernico) Durso. He retired from Grand Trunk Railroad in 1982 after 35 years of service. In his retirement, he especially enjoyed the rodeo. Surviving are 6 children, Richard Durso of Holly, Judy Rose of Holly, Joseph (Beverly) Durso of Waterford, William (Shelley) Durso of Birch Run, Kim (Rob) Hartman of Holly, and Tony (Diane) Durso of Waterford; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Durso. Memorial donations may be made to the Michigan Humane Society. Private family services will be held at a later date.
