MARIE DELLA LUCIA Obituary

DELLA LUCIA, MARIE S. (NEE OSTROWSKI); December 25, 2010; age 53; of Royal Oak. She was a teacher at St. Mary's Elementary School and Shrine Catholic Academy. She was a longtime member of the Shrine of the Little Flower Parish, Royal Oak and former member of St. Raymond's Parish, Detroit. Loving wife of Mike for 28 years; devoted mother of Benjamin and Cathy; daughter of Richard and the late Anna Ostrowski; sister of Michael Ostrowski (Joan), Suzanne Ostrowski-Dansel (Jurgen) and Richard Ostrowski (Denise); daughter-in-law of Teresa (the late Alex); also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward (btwn 13-14 Mile) Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 3 to 9 p.m. Scripture Service Wednesday 7 p.m. Funeral Mass Thursday 10 a.m. at National Shrine of the Little Flower, Woodward at Twelve Mile Rd..
