Samuel Peters Obituary
10,2023 at Cantebury-on-the-Lake Nursing Facility. Loving husband of Nancy Peters for 67
years, dear father of Martin E. Peters, Myra K. Peters, Caroline N. Peters (Mark
Boyes), and Christine D. Isaacson (Gary). Dear brother of John Z. Peters of Las
Vegas, Nevada and Esther Adams of Lakeland, Florida and predeceased by his
brother, Abodine Peters and his sister, Irene Patrick.
Sam worked as an industrial plumber with Sylvan Industrial Piping and was a 50-year member of Plumbers Union Local 98. An avid sportsman and bowler, Sam loved golf and played at every
opportunity. After retiring, he bought a winter home in Lakeland, Florida and
spent 28 winters there, playing golf, visiting theme parks, and enjoying the warm
weather. No funeral will be held, but a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

I was privileged to know Sam, to work with him, be taught by him, and to be influenced by him. As I think back about Sam, I am reminded of many stories which bring a smile. I am glad to have known him.
