Curtis Rogers Obituary

Curtis H. Rogers, Jr. Curtis H. Rogers, 55, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 in Olympia, WA. Curt is survived by his wife, Tina McLendon Rogers, Olympia; sons Sean Rogers, Seattle and Chaz Rogers, Olympia; parents, Hoover C. and Laura Lynell Rogers, Steele, AL; father-in-law and mother-in-law Byron and Jean McLendon, Huntsville, AL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dean and Teresa McLendon, Huntsville, AL; nieces Lane and Kate McLendon, Huntsville, AL; special uncle and aunt Lee and Mary Gilliland; and many other relatives. Curt was employed by the Washington Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee for 17 years. He served 12 years in the US Air Force. Curt earned his BA degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Martin's University, Lacey, WA and his BA in Public Administration from City University, Bellevue, WA. A Celebration of Life service for Curt will be held at Church of Living Water at 1615 Chambers St SE, Olympia, WA 98501 on June 15, 2013 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Church of Living Water or the Humane Society.
