David Johnson Obituary

David H. Johnson 1964-2015 David H. Johnson, 50, of Renton, died January 16, 2015 in Swedish Hospital in Seattle of cancer, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Olympia, WA to W. Howard and Dixie Johnson of Tumwater. David attended schools in Lacey and Tumwater. He graduated from Tumwater High in 1982 and Central Washington University with a B.A degree in 1986. David was employed at Fredrick and Nelson, State of Washington, DSHS, Alaska Airlines and Metro in Seattle. He became disabled and retired in 2000. David enjoyed photography, golf, fishing, traveling, cooking, and helping the less fortunate and homeless. He delivered meals for Lifelong/Chicken Soup Brigade to shut-ins. In school, he participated on the rifle team, drama and cross country. He also was a boy scout and a member of the Renton Eagles. David is survived by his parents; sister, Lori Johnson; nephew, Jack Roy; and longtime friend of the family, Dan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and aunt, Mary Perniconi.
