David M. Whittle 1938-2010
In loving memory

David Whittle passed away on August 24, 2010 in Fresno, Ca. He lived in the Olympia area for 35 years. He retired as an electrical inspector with the Dept. of Labor & Industries, in 2004 and relocated to Sanger, Ca. David touched many lives with his great attitude and humor. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Lynda, daughters Teri Hoskins and Penny Rasmussen, stepchildren Becky Striggo, Robin Method, and Darrin Pampaian, eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and siblings Barbara Warner and Kenneth Whittle.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at the Lacey Senior Center, 6757 Pacific Ave SE, Lacey, WA on Saturday, September 4th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.

Dave touched many people in this community. I was very fortunate to be one of those people. In describing Dave, I wrote some words that first came to mind: Honesty, Integrity, Fun, Thoughful, Respectful, Respected, and Caring. You will be first remembered, and second missed. Thank you for the opportunity, to know you as a friend.

I was so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Lynda and family my heart is with you at this painful time in your life. Dave was a great, friend, customer and co-worker. I enjoyed his positive outlook and ability to see the positive side of life, no matter what.

I grew up in olympian and started my trade as an electrician. Dave inspected many of my jobs and red tagged a few. It made me a better electrician and he became someone I had great respect for. He will be missed. Our thoughtts and prayers are with you. Bob Parker Parker Electric
