Delores Amber Obituary
May 3, 1937 - February 19, 2025
Oro Valley, Arizona - Delores was born in Florin, Ca. She moved to Redmond, Wa as a child and stayed in the Seattle area till moving to Olympia in 1972 and then to Arizona to be near her daughter ,son-in-law and youngest granddaughter Jordyn. She graduated from West Seattle HS and later married William (Bill) Amber in 1957. They had 3 children together, Jeffrey Shane, Jennifer Gail (John) Jimenez and Steven Craig. She worked for the WS Attorney Generals Office for 36 years until forced to retire due to health issues. She so loved her job and her coworkers. She made such a lasting impression on so many of them and was affectionately referred to as "The Queen." She loved to travel and visited many countries. She had a wicked sense of humor that stayed with her till the end. Most of all she was the very best mother, grandmother and mother-in -law and was loved beyond measure by her family. Along with her children she leaves behind her 3 granddaughters who adored her, Courteney Amber Olson, Kendall Ashlin Olson and Jordyn Makenzie Jimenez as well as her sisters Jackie Colacurcio and Jeana Nourani.

I just today learned of Delores´s passing. I knew her while working at the Attorney General´s Office in Olympia. She was one of our receptionists and she was great at it. She could handle anyone who came into the office. Yes, she did have a wicked sense of humor and was bold enough to put anyone in their place. I have so many fond memories of Delores. She was our Queen. My condolences to her family.
