Olympia, Washington - Our beloved Hannah passed away into the mystic on December 31, 2020 after a brief and unexpected illness.
Hannah was born and raised in Olympia and attended local schools, graduating from Olympia High School. She moved on to get her Bachelor's degree from Western Washington University, attended The Evergreen State College to complete a Master's degree, and ultimately received a Doctor of Laws from Seattle University.
A first born to her doting parents, Hannah became a wonderful big sister to her two siblings. As she matured, Hannah became an important and positive leader in our community. Her huge smile, enthusiasm and utter determination made her a force in any organization or project. Hannah had the innate ability to encourage everyone she met.
Hannah met the love of her life, Brady McDonald in 2006. They created a very busy home, had many adventures and brought two amazing boys into the world, Rory and Finn. Their life was full of love, laughter, and mutual admiration. Hannah had an enthusiastic eye to the future with new ideas, goals and projects.
When you think of Hannah, think of warmth, a zest for life and great love for family, friends and her community.
To honor Hannah's vision and action of community service an endowment fund has been created in her honor. Donations may be made to The Community Foundation of South Puget Sound in Hannah's name.
A celebration of our fabulous Hannah will be held at an appropriate time in the months ahead.
