Myra Burns Obituary

Myra T. Burns, 75, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002 in her Centralia home. Myra was born February 8, 1927 in Wachula, Florida to William P. & Elma G. (Huss) Davidson. She was married to Albert W. Norman in 1946 and they later divorced and she married John Burns, who preceded her in death. Myra T. retired in 1981 as a Research Analyst/Manager of the Omak office of Washington State Dept. of Employment Security. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and oil painting. She had been an active member of the Washington State Grange in Thurston and Okanogan Counties. She had been active in the Olympia White Shrine of Jerusalem, Malachi Shrine #8, Capitol Court #37 Order of Amaranth, and Omak Chapter of Eastern Star. Surviving are her sons and their wives, Albert & Annie Norman of Walnut, CA, Bradley & Karen Norman of Centralia; daughter, Myra Lee and her husband Curtis Volland of PeEll; sister Bettie Sue DePalma of Olympia; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous stepchildren, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; niece and nephew, Kathy & Paul DePalma. Visitation will be held at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Rd. SW Tumwater, WA on Friday, November 8th, from 3-7pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 9th, 1:30 pm at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, Tumwater. Burial will be in Pateros, WA.
