Richard Christensen Obituary

Richard Michael Christensen Richard Christensen was born July 28, 1949 in Olympia, WA to Raymond & Marjorie Christensen. He attended Olympia High School where he played football and wrestled. He attained the Eagle Scout award which was presented by Governor Dan Evans. He received his BA Degree from CWU. Dick worked with cable television systems in CA, IL, and AK. In more recent years he farmed geoducks. He enjoyed water & snow skiing. Some of his happiest times were spent fishing and hunting with family and friends. Dick was good hearted, we all loved him and will miss him. Richard is survived by his Mother, Marjorie Faber, his siblings; Douglas (Diane), Kevin (Barb), Candace(Steve) and Sonia Jutte (Mark) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond. A memorial will be held Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 1pm, Panorama City, Main Bldg. Garden Room. Dick. You were my God Uncle. Will always remember you and the profound impact you had on my life and my family. So many great memories. Godspeed.

Im so sorry to hear about Dicks passing. I enjoyed some great times hunting and just spending time talking with Dick. I worked for his brother Kevin for two decades and really looked up to Dick and will miss him dearly. Thanks Dick for touching my life and all my friends who had the pleasure of meeting you. Rest in peace my brother!!!! Bill Jones
