Robert J. Ramsauer

Bob Ramsauer died on Tuesday, December 4, 2001. Born in 1920, Bob was a grandson and son of the pioneer McLane family of Mud Bay where the McLanes homesteaded in the 1850s. In 1948 after service in the United States Coast Guard, Bob and Laura Kazakoff Ramsauer built a home on the Delphi Road where McLane and Swift Creek join. They lived there maintaining the acreage and being stewards to the fish, wildlife, and woodlands. Bob is survived by Laura in the family home; son Robert M. Ramsauer and family; daughter Andrea Leap and family; and brother Raymond Ramsauer and family all of Olympia.At Bob's request there will be no service. All whose lives Bob enriched are warmly welcomed to send cards and letters to the family home. No phone calls please.
