Samuel Luis Ortiz Samuel Luis Ortiz, 64, of Lacey, Washington went to worship Jesus face to face on Friday, May 29, 2015. Born August 1, 1950 in San Luis Obispo, California, he is survived by his wife, Kathy; and his children, Shawn, Isaac and Stormie; and many extended family and friends. As a music director and highly-skilled musician, he was affectionately called Samtana. He lived a life of worship, devotion and faith. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, coach, mentor and friend to so many people. He is deeply loved and will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., at Capital Christian Center, 4431 Martin Way E., Lacey, Washington. All are welcome.

My name is Susan Angelina ingram ortiz. Sammy was my brother. Though he was really my uncle? He and I are One year apart we were like brother and sister. I recall how he loved guitar. Sammies daddy played guitar as well. He would be taught by grandpa how to play flamingo guitar. We were raised in oceano California. We went to arroyo grande high school in California.

We lived nearest pismo beach. The days have gone. Now? Only memories remain. Oh how I miss you Sammy?. Please save a spot for me in heaven.
