Sheri Claywell Obituary
February 2, 1954 - March 10, 2025
Hoquiam, Washington - Sheri Claywell was born on Groundhog Day, February 1954, as the only child of Norm and Shirley Major Claywell.
Incurable liver cancer took her away.
Sheri attended Emerson School, Hoquiam Junior High, and Hoquiam High School, graduating in the top ten of her class. She continued her education at Grays Harbor College, where she also graduated in the top ten, and earned her bachelor's degree Magna Cum Laude from Pacific Lutheran University. Sheri later achieved her master's degree from Linfield College, graduating in the top ten.
After completing her education, Sheri dedicated 34 years to teaching as an elementary school teacher. She had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed playing golf with friends. Sheri had a six handicap and won the women's club championship with a record-breaking 72 at Grays Harbor Country Club and a championship record of 69 at Oakridge.
Sheri also had a love for fast cars and was fortunate to have had many of them. She also cherished her many "fur babies" and looks forward to being reunited with them on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
