Signe Johnson Obituary

Signe Tollefson Johnson Signe Tollefson Johnson, 95, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2012 in Lacey, Washington. She was born February 14, 1917 in Rudyard, Montana to Hans and Marget Tollefson. She married Oscar T. Johnson in 1938, lived most of her life in Montana, and moved to Olympia in 2007 to be close to her son, Douglas. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1601 North St SE, Olympia, WA 98501. Please leave remembrances at www.FuneralAlternatives.org. Arrangements are with Funeral Alternatives of Washington 360-753-1065.

Doug, so sorry to hear about your mom. I wondered a while back where she was and how she was. She was such a pleasant lady when I knew her. She and your dad helped us 4-H kids learn to square dance and Minneota Hall way back when. My sympathy to you in your loss. It is hard to lose your mom...I know. So sorry I remember the good old days when I stayed with Darrol both on the farm and in town. We were such close buddies. Riding our scooters at a pretty young age. Your Mom was always so quiet and kind even when we were getting into trouble. I remember so clear what it was like the day he died when he was going out of the school crying and holding his side.
