Steven Junk Obituary

Steven Merle Junk

Steve left us peacefully in Lacey, WA, on April 30, 2011, at the age of 55. He was born on April 4, 1956, in Anchorage, AK, to Willard Frank Junk and Marijane (Junk) Ridley. After graduating from Olympia High School in 1974, he attended college for one year at Bremerton Community College, studying journalism. He worked in construction for many years, including Marks Drywall for about 15 years. He was also the light man for the band Porky and the Beans! Steve married twice and has two children, Lindsey Ruth and John Steven. Steve loved to camp and fish, especially on the Deschutes River at his sister's place. At Steve's request, there will be no service. The family is going to have a celebration of life at Wonderwood Park in Lacey, WA. Janie & Vickie - Sorry to hear about the loss of Steve. We had some good memories when Steve was young, especially when we lived next door to each other & Steve, Vickie, Debbie and Kathy played together and had birthday parties. Steve is at peace now. May God comfort you in your loss.

To My One And Only God-brother! I know you left us physically, yet I remember all the pranks we used to play on each other. Stop by and visit sometime, just move something around so that I know you're here. Steve and I grew up together for many years. We had great times of laughter, hunting, fishing and camping together with our families and friends. He will be missed, yet I know I'll see him again, as will all that read this. Say hello to Grandma O'Brien and Grandpa and Grandma junk for me! You may be gone, but you will always live on in my heart brother Steve! I wish all of you who knew him better days ahead, and please have a GREAT TIME for Steve in his Celebration of going home!
