So many memories of our years growing up with this amazing woman. She had the biggest heart and was always making us all laugh. I can hear her laugh now. We had some crazy, fun times together all of us. She is missed by so many. Love this woman so.

I am so sorry to hear of Vanessa's passing....It has been years since I had seen her..I went to elementary school with her and part of middle school. I ran into her years later at a party and she hadn't changed a bit.. ;-) She was always an extremely sweet and caring person. ...I remember her cutting my bangs in 5th grade at your house before Little Rocks evening Halloween party. ....I remember having complete trust in her bang cutting abilities. ..she was very cute and always stylish with the best hair.....well unfortunately she totally botched them and made them all crooked. ...She felt so bad. ...She always was such a caring and beautiful person..I'm so sorry for your families loss...

I'm so sorry for your loss. She will be missed but we still have a lot of memories to cherish. She was the first person to talk to me about fastpitch when I first moved up to Washington. It was in the middle of one of our 8th grade classes and she was asking if I wanted to play for the Road Warriors. She has such a contagious smile and hope and pray that you find peace.

Judy, I cannot imagine what you are going through right now and my heart goes out to you. I will never forget Vanessa, her pretty face, and sweet nature. This is just too horrible for words. Sue Vickerman (Becky Simpson's mom) xx

She walks with God
She is with you always
She smiles upon the ones she loves
She is in the hearts of all she touched
She is the silken breeze which caresses your cheek
She is the warmth upon your shoulder
She will be with you always
My heart goes out to you and your family and my deepest sympathy.

Sweet Vanessa. Thank you for your friendship and the memories you gave me. Your smile, laughter and support brightened my world when I needed it the most. Forever in my heart you will live... May you and Katie be together again, and please save me a seat for when I get to join you two...

Judy, Meagan and Family... Prayers to you all. I hope you find comfort in knowing how many lives she touched. Such a bright star to have left so soon, but know that when you want to keep her memory alive you have many people to share stories of her... And most will all come with laughter and smiles... It was just her way. Xox

Vanessa always had a smile on her face. She loved people, laughter, and sharing - sharing her time - building memories. I thank God for the memories I have, and cherish, as I am sure every one does.

Vanessa loved everybody, treated us all equally, no matter who you were. On a trip to LaPine, she sparked up conversation with the bridal party at the next table - by the time we left - we were all LOL!

At work, when she lost her front tooth - I was walking by and she called me over - showed me the tooth in her hand, then smiled - I could not stop laughing!

Even in the tough times - when she broke her foot while camping, she stayed possitive, riding her "one-legged scooter" all over the Beaverton Office cracking jokes all the while.

Vanessa was also true to the heart - she confided in those she loved, let us confide in her and would stop at nothing to help when you needed it.

I miss her dearly now, and am heartbroken of our loss.
Vanessa - Fly Free -

We love you,

Carol and Rick Campbell

You will be missed my sweet friend. I wish we had stayed in better touch when you switched jobs but that is just how life goes sometimes. I will always remember you with a kind, tender heart. Your love and compassion for animals was second to none. I will always giggle a little to myself (and maybe aloud) when I think of the pizza sliding down the wall at McMenniman's and how upset you were about it. You were such a deeply passionate soul even when it wasn't necessary. I hope your journey has brought you to infinite happiness and joy. My heart hurts today but I know someday I will only smile when your thought runs threw my head and a tear will no longer join in.

Vanessa had one of those rare infectious smiles. Every time I saw her, she'd get a big smile on her face, like we were co-conspirators, and I'd start smiling right back at her. I'm sure everyone has had more laughter in their lives having known her. She will be missed so much.
